Single Elimination Rounds
- The tournament will be single elimination unless one team gets 10 books in the first hand of a match.
Special Rule for 10 Books:
- If a team gets 10 books in the first hand, the following hand will have a special condition:
- The team that did not get 10 books must win at least 2 more books than the other team in the next hand to continue the game.
- If the team does not achieve this, the team that got 10 books in the first hand wins and advances to the next round.
- If the team that didn’t get 10 books in the first hand succeeds in gaining 2 more books than the other team, the game will continue as usual.
Sandbags:
- Sandbags are counted throughout the tournament. A team will lose 100 points for every 10 sandbags they accumulate.
Sets:
- If a team gets set twice (fails to meet their bid twice), they will be automatically eliminated and the other team will advance.
- Note: This does not apply in the championship round. In the final round, a team getting set twice does not result in an automatic loss.
Championship Round:
- In the championship round, the game continues until one team reaches 500 points. The first team to 500 points wins the match.
